Reminder: Please Translate FCMS

Just a friendly reminder to all the bi-lingual FCMS users out their.  Please help translate Family Connections.

Both the Chinese and Dutch languages only need 1 more word/phrase translated and then they are 100% complete and also quite a few are very close as well.

I added a new feature to the translation page where you can view only the untranslated words/phrases, so hopefully it’s not so overwhelming to finish up these languages.

And also, a special thanks to all those who have contributed to the translations already.

  1. Hi !
I just found your CMS and FC is really interesting. I’m doing the french translation for now, I hope this will be useful.
Is it possible to hide somewhere completed sections of translations ? This feature would be great, the translating form would be easier I think…

    Thanks a lot.

    Arnaud TIERANT.

  2. This feature does exist, on the top right of the form, where it says Viewing Options, click on the Untranslated links

  3. Wonderful, thanks !

  4. I translate code “zh-cn”,Just a “submit/Submit” no translate,Bui I can’t submit it …

  5. Sorry about that Kevin.

I’ve fixed the problem with the “submit” part. You should now be able to translate it and submit the form properly.

  6. Thanks for your greate work,That is OK :-)

  7. Yeah! I did it!

All the French translation is now complete. It is not without difficulties, some small malignant thought it right to come to put their nose, distorting some translations.
    By exemple :
Persons to pray for ===> Personne n’a prié pour (meaning nobody prayed for…)

I hope there’s no more problems inside. I checked it a second time to be sure, I saw nothing.

  8. Thanks TiPunk and Kevin.

  9. Can you give me a mail where I can send you a new french language.php please ?
I have made some modifications :
    - some translations were inadequate during implementation,
    - I protected all the quote signs to avoid errors,
    - I converted the file into UTF-8 code to allow accents and local signs.

  10. I still have a problem with the “à” character… :(
