Better Bug/Feature Request Tracking

Currently Family Connections uses two different tools for bug/feature request tracking.  For keeping track of bugs we use a great program called Trac, and for gathering and organizing feature requests we use a different program called crowdsound.

The problem with having two different programs is that when someone suggests a new feature in crowdsound, I have to go to that site to moderate it, and then go back to Trac and add it to that, so I can keep track of things.

The solution is to combine these two programs into one, but since I couldn’t find any existing software that could do that, I decided to write my own.  And that’s how I got the idea to start Simple Application Management or SAM for short.

  1. That sounds like a great idea! I also just started the same type of project and if your interested, would be willing to drop it and help you with SAM. Email me if your interested and I will show you what I have so far :).

  2. I just sent you an email John.
