Help Stop Spam
As many of you have noticed the Family Connections Forum has been flooded with spam lately. This has happened before in the past, but I did some things and got rid of most of it. I’m not sure what has changed recently but the spammers are back.
I’m running out of ideas on how to fix this and the only thing I can think of is to have a couple of Forum Moderators who can help me stay on top of things, so if anyone is interested in helping moderate the forums, let me know.

I have had very good luck with CAPTCHA for blocking spam. Get a good font and add a little noise to the background… seems to block spam on all my sites so far.
If you need a mod however, I will be glad to help out… I visit often looking for updates anyways.
Try Lussumo’s Vanilla. It’s a sweet forum system. Version 2 is in beta, but Version 1 is quite serviceable and will be upgradeable to v2 when it is released.
I can afford some time to help moderate, especially since I gave up a moderator’s position on Hot or Not a while back.. I only ranked a 7.1…..
