Help Wanted

While coding ehancements for the next release, I’ve come to the realization that a lot of the bugs in previous versions happened because of a lack of good testing. Now, I test every bit of code I write, however I test it from a developers point of view and not a users point of view. So that got me thinking that each release needs to go through UAT (User Acceptance Testing), in addition to the testing that I do.

Basically all that would be required is to login to a test site that I host on my site, try out all the new features and see if you find any potential problems, whether that be errors or just confusing or hard to use features.

So, is anyone interested in helping test the next release? If you are interested just leave a comment.

  2. Thanks Scott. I’ll setup a couple of test accounts for you and email you with all the information on where, how and what to test.

  3. I will also be interested to help.

  4. Thanks MartinZ, I’ll be emailing you also.

  5. I will be glad to test and help… just let me know…

  6. Rocky, Martin, and Scott — I sent each of you an email. Let me know if you didn’t get it or have any questions.

  7. Count me in… While not a coder I can find trouble or oddities

  8. Dalenberg – I’ll be sending you an email with more information. You don’t need to know anything about programming to test, in fact, it’s better that you don’t.

  9. Hi,

If still required, I would love to be part of the testing team for future releases.

Please let me know what I need to do.

    Thanks,

    Rohan
